UCSF to Host Alumni Weekend and Reunions in April
Registration Deadline is Thursday, April 12
UCSF will welcome alumni back to San Francisco April 20 and 21 for a series of events, including an exclusive breakfast with Chancellor Susan Desmond-Hellmann, an evening at the San Francisco Symphony and lectures and panel discussions about the latest in research and health care.
The registration deadline is Thursday, April 12. Alumni may register online.
The website has all the details about UCSF Alumni Weekend and Reunion Celebrations. Here alumni can register, find a master schedule of weekend events, more detailed general and logistical information, maps, and resources for interesting San Francisco restaurants, museums, and recreational activities. In addition, alumni will find school-specific schedules, descriptions of continuing education and panel discussions, and biographies of keynote speakers.

All-Alumni Kickoff Reception
Friday, April 20, 5 to 7:30 p.m.
Palace Hotel
Sponsored by Geico, this event provides an opportunity to catch up with friends and meet new ones while enjoying light refreshments, live entertainment, presentations from students and faculty, and more.
Breakfast with UCSF Chancellor Susan Desmond-Hellmann
Saturday, April 21, 8 to 9:30 a.m.
Palace Hotel
This breakfast gala will feature Chancellor Susan Desmond-Hellmann, MD, MPH, as well as luminary faculty and students.
Please note that space is limited and registration is required.
All-Alumni Entertainment Outing
Friday, April 20, 8 to 10 p.m.
Davies Symphony Hall
Alumni will be able to enjoy an evening with the renowned San Francisco Symphony for “Jean-Yves Thibaudet Plays Saint-Saëns’s Piano Concerto No. 5.” UCSF has secured excellent seats at a generous discount and will have a champagne toast with fellow alumni at intermission. Round trip shuttle service from the Palace Hotel will be provided. Seating is limited at discounted rate. Please register before March 20 online at ucsfalumni.org/reunionor indicate quantity on registration form.
Lectures, Panels & Open Labs
Meet the deans, faculty champions, luminary alumni and students in discussions on the current state of health care. Alumni will also learn about the schools’ innovative research and instruction, and hear about how the schools work together across professions and disciplines.
Mission Bay and Parnassus Campus Tours
Visit some of the campuses’ newest and most impressive facilities on guided tours, including the Teaching and Learning Centerand the Ray and Dagmar Dolby Regeneration Medicine Buildingon the Parnassus campus, and the Neurosciences Research Buildingand Robotic Pharmacy at UCSF Mission Bay. Alumni can also tour the campuses at their own pace using a self-guided map. Again, please note that space on guided tours of most buildings is extremely limited and registration is required. Please register online. Also, please note that there are some long distances between facilities that require physical stamina.
