Altruism Takes a Front Seat at Drive for Miracles Radiothon

This Valentine’s Day season, Golisano Children’s Hospital is inviting listeners in the Rochester area to think outside the box when it comes to love. Romantics and skeptics alike can join forces during this impassioned time of year, fueled by a different kind of love – altruism. Tune in from Thursday, Feb. 10, through Saturday, Feb. 12, as 100.5 The Drive FM’s J.P. and Julie invite listeners to help raise funds for ill and injured children treated at Golisano Children’s Hospital at the University of Rochester Medical Center.

Radio listeners will hear stories from families whose children were treated at Golisano Children’s Hospital for everything from congenital heart defects to neurodegenerative diseases to harrowing bouts with cancer. The Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Drive for Miracles Radiothon, sponsored by Tops Friendly Markets, will run from 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10, and Friday, Feb. 11, at the Strong Memorial Hospital lobby and 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, at Eastview Mall.
