Oolong Tea for Weight Loss

Article / Review by on February 2, 2011 – 1:02 am2 Comments

What is Oolong Tea?

Oolong Tea Ancient ChineseThe recipe for preparing Wu-Long tea (mainly referred to as Oolong tea) is originally from the Fujian province of China. Whether for home use or large quantity manufacturing, tea production involves a process known as fermentation and oxidation of the leaves and flowers. Oolong tea is known as the semi-fermented tea, the most complicated blend of tea to produce. It is the best of both worlds between Black and Green Tea varieties with a medium bodied fruity taste, as fresh as Green Tea but much less bitter and a rich aroma distinctive of blends of Black tea.

Oolong Tea Weight Loss

Oolong tea accelerates weight loss by burning (it is reported) over 157% more fat than Green tea alone, making the popularity of this particular blend of tea very very popular indeed. Stars such as Oprah Winfrey and Rachael Ray endorse Oolong tea, claiming that it helps them maintain a healthy balanced weight. This amazing tea is nothing new as it has been consumed in China for centuries due to its natural healing and detoxifying properties, today it is hailed as the weight loss miracle for the astounding results it delivers.

The latest research has now shown that two cups of Oolong tea a day not only increases your metabolism to incredible levels, but also blocks the processes which cause carbohydrates to turn to fat and stick right where you want it the least!

Oolong is also reported to prevent obesity. The large amount of Polyphenols in Oolong tea stops the absorption of fat and cholesterol by over 50%. In clinical trials, those who were on diets with a high fat content who drank the tea everyday found that they still absorbed less fat than those on the same diets but who did not drink the tea. This is due to the body’s absorption of lipids being diminished and will suppress fats being accumulated.

These are the finest leaves you will ever find combined in any tea and you will only find this one of a kind product online.

Tava Tea Weight Loss FormulaWhat makes this stand out from the rest is that its concentrated formula acts very quickly and the combined health benefits you will attain from drinking this tea simply out performs the other herbal teas. The most powerful catechin known as Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) is also found in high quantities in Tava Tea

Regular consumption of Tava Tea does not mean restricting your calorie intake, gruelling exercise or any other drastic changes to lifestyle to kick-start weight loss. It is scientifically tested and proven that Tava Tea will burn 2.5 more calories per cupful than normal Green tea. Tava tea for Weight Loss. Does It Work?

Independent Oolong weight loss tea customer reviews on Amazon.com

Oolong Tea Weight Loss Review Jenny, C. (MA) I have been drinking oolong tea at least 4-6 cups per day during the past holiday season, with meal or anytime I want to eat snack… To my delight, the pant size is drop one whole size!

Oolong Tea Weight Loss Review Lylith (CA) I was highly skeptical of the reports that said that Oolong tea helps with weight loss, but now I’m a believer. Eating healthier and eating less was helping me, but once I started drinking a cup or two of this tea each day I did notice that the weight loss was a little faster. I love this tea.

Oolong Tea Weight Loss ReviewJanise (Glen Burnie, MD, United States) Ok I don’t know about anyone else but for me this product is nothing short of miraculous. The taste is OK…I make just as I would any old iced tea; by the pitcher. On occasion I drink it hot. It doesn’t taste bad, doesn’t taste great. The miracle is what it has done for my body! I controls my appetite and I’ve lost a lot of weight since drinking it. This surprises me because my life has held a lot of tragedy this year which has thrown off my workouts. I thought surely I would gain weight (adding another tragedy to the list) but I started drinking this and my clothes are fitting despite not working out as much. I hate that the shipping is so expensive but I just can’t be without this stuff.

  • Jenny says:

Oolong tea is widely drunk in Fujian China, and Japan. And it becomes more and more popular all around the China. Oolong has so many different other names: Wu-Lung, Wu-long. It is really the same thing, just different pronunciation from different parts of China (Mandarin, Taiwanese, or Cantonese). The premium oolong can be extremely expensive, most for its fragrance, color, sweetness (where to grow or when to pick). It can cost over $200 for just 1 oz (you won’t see them out of China though). But if you are really for its healthy benefit, this is an excellent tea.
