Gynecomastia Treatments – is surgery the only alternative?

Have you ever thought of getting your man boobs reduced – and then immediately collapsed in a  funk of despair and embarrassment?

Actually, there is no reason to be embarrassed. Enlarged breasts  are common among teenage boys and men, and breast reduction surgery is increasingly popular among guys. In fact, in the US it’s the fourth most popular cosmetic surgical procedure among males, with nearly 17,000 of them performed in 2009 alone.

Gynecomastia is the medical name associated with development of masculine boobs (man boobs).  It’s obvious that the problem of man boobs (Gynecomastia) is far larger and more widespread the most people think. I is reported that 1 in 3 men either suffer with man boobs or will suffer from man boobs. There does seem to be many reasons for this including diet, lack of exercise and hormonal problems.

Males of virtually any age group, that are healthy as well as psychologically secure, tend to be very good candidates intended for male boobs reduction medical procedures. Additional, ideal individuals for masculine boobs decrease are anyone who has the sound, stretchy skin that will remould on the body’s fresh outlines.

Ordinarily, physicians reduce male boobs (man boobs) via liposuction or maybe by cutting the abnormal glandular flesh from your body. Ordinarily, doing this masculine breast decrease medical procedures will take  a couple of hrs on the outpatient schedule with the application of local anaesthesia.

Medical ailments for instance morbid obesity, using steroid drugs in addition to drug misuse bring about Gynecomastia.

Needless to say – let’s not forget about the expense of medical procedures. Sometimes it is around $6, 000! Which is lots of money!

Then you’ll find the potential health risks which are associated with any kind of medical operation, through everlasting scaring to contamination, they need to always be considered.

Consult the experts

Before you jump in, have a good heart-to-heart with your doctor. There are a number of ways in which you can get rid of your man jugs – exercise, dieting, and Gynexin pills – and in the case of many adolescents; the condition resolves itself over time. So give all of those a chance before you put yourself under a surgeon’s knife.

For some men, however, Gynecomastia can only be treated surgically. Let your doctor refer you to a surgeon in your area who has experience in this procedure, and schedule a consultation with him. Or her.

Before the op

At your first consultation, your prospective surgeon should spend some time discussing your options, your reasons for wanting the procedure, and your expectations. He or she will then take your medical history, do a full medical examination, possibly take some “before” pics, and explain the procedure itself and its implications in detail.

Once you’ve decided together that you want to have the operation and that you are a suitable candidate, you’ll decide on a date for the operation and you’ll be given detailed pre-operative instructions.

The operation

The technical term for the procedure is reduction mammaplasty, and it typically takes around 60-90 minutes, although more extensive surgery may take longer. One of the issues you’ll have discussed is whether you’re going to have general anesthesia or conscious sedation. The surgeon’s goal is primarily to reduce breast size, and to flatten and enhance chest contours. You may also look at improving the size, position and shape of the areola, as well as removal of excess skin.

If the problem is primarily an excess of fatty tissue, the procedure may only involve liposuction techniques. A thin, hollow metal tube called a cannula is inserted through one or more small incisions, usually around the areola or in the underarm area, and moved backwards and forwards beneath the skin to loosen extra fat which is then removed by vacuum suction.

In instances where actual glandular breast tissue and excess skin have to be removed, excision techniques are employed, using a scalpel to cut away tissue, skin and fat. This is also the case if the nipple needs to be repositioned or the areola shape or size adjusted. The incision pattern varies in each case, but is usually made around the areola or in the underarm area.

In some situations a combination of liposuction and excision may be required.

The risks

As with any surgical operation, there are several potential risks involved in breast reduction procedures  and you should speak to your surgeon about these before you commit to the surgery (mammoplasty). They include:

* swelling, pain, scarring and bruising;

* infection;

* changes in nipple or breast sensitivity;

* irregularities in breast shape, contour and symmetry; and

* skin discolouration.

Recovery

You can expect to feel some pain, swelling, bruising and discomfort for a few days after the procedure, but nothing a decent prescription pain killer can’t fix. You should be able to return to work as early as a day or two after the surgery and your stitches should be removed a week or two after it. To keep the incisions covered, the swelling down and the skin in place you’ll probably need to wear an elastic pressure bandage continuously for a week or two and for a little longer at night.

You are probably going to be advised to avoid heavy exercise, strenuous work and sexual activity for a while, but should be back in normal working condition within about a month. The worst of the swelling will subside within the first week, but it may take three months or longer before the full results of the procedure will become completely apparent.

After considering all the above don’t you think you should give Gynexin a try, no pian, no recovery, no huge cost, no more man boobs.

Gynexin, why use it?

It’s obvious that the problem of man boobs (Gynecomastia) is far larger and more widespread the most people think. I is reported that 1 in 3 men either suffer with man boobs or will suffer from man boobs. There does seem to be many reasons for this including diet, lack of exercise and hormonal problems.

As we all know changing your diet is a very difficult thing to do. We all get stuck into a routine of of eating the same foods week in and week out.  So changing your diet or sticking to an off the shelf calorie controlled diet is a failure waiting to happen.

So anything that makes dieting easier, or even simple, is certainly worth looking into. If a simple pill made from natural ingredients can suppress appetite, and target the fat around the male breast (man boobs) then it must be worth a try.

no more man boobs

Gynexin is a product that claims to do all of the above, so taking the pressure of the need to massively increase exercise and stick to a rigid diet. Of course the alternative to Gynexin is cosmetic surgery to remove the layers of fat associated with Gynecomastia in a surgical operation, from the breast (man boobs) area. ALL surgery carries risk, the risk of infection, the risk of scaring, and the risks associated with anaesthetics.  And of course because it is a cosmetic surgery the cost is massive, it will cost more than $4000 at least.

Gynexin, diet, exercise and surgery will all work to greater and lesser extents. But as pointed out earlier two of them are so hard to stick to and surgery is so expensive with too much risk. So a taking a pill made from natural ingredients makes Gynexin that natural choice, and the sensible choice.

Man boobs are a major embarrassment to suffers of Gynecomastia, and Gynexin must be worth a try without the major hassle of sticking to a diet, upping exercise and sticking to it. And of course without the pain and expense of surgery.
