URMC Annual Gala will take Guests to Wonderland for an Evening

Don’t be late for this very important date! The Rochester Riverside Convention Center will be transformed into Wonderland for the 24th annual Golisano Children’s Hospital Gala on Saturday, Oct. 29. Guests will be able to wander through the magical world of make believe while enjoying delicious food and drinks, live entertainment and live and silent auctions.

Annual Gala will take Guests to Wonderland for an EveningCocktail hour for the black-tie event starts at 6 p.m. At 8 p.m., the live auction and dinner begin. The Gala is Golisano Children’s Hospital’s largest annual fundraiser. Families, sponsors and local business owners come out to support children’s health in the Greater Rochester area and have a good time doing so. Last year’s gala raised a record-breaking $874,000 for the children’s hospital.

This year, the hospital is grateful to recognize Roger and Carolyn Friedlander as honorary chairs. “We’ve enjoyed attending the Gala for years, and look forward to playing a larger role in this year’s event,” Friedlander said.

The Cabot Group, a local real estate firm, will once again be the presenting sponsor for this event. Tickets are $175 per person. For more information, please call Golisano Children’s Hospital’s Office of Advancement at (585) 273-5948 or visit www.givetokids.urmc.edu.
